Sugawara & Li Laboratory promotes research to contribute the development of Nano-Science Technology, by using the measuring technique of new nanoscale properties.  Specifically, we make full use of noncontact atomic force microscope, which makes possible to examine the surface of a material at the atomic/molecular level, to promote search and analysis of new physical phenomena emerging on a solid surface.  We also promote development of the unprecedented future technology for building up new nanomaterials and new nanodevices, by manipulating each atomic element or molecular.
